Kit information
Don’t worry if you don’t have all of the above items, speak to a leader who will be able to advise you on suitable alternatives. Please do not bring any aerosol deodorants, they are often flammable, cause problems with asthma, and can cause damage to the canvas of tents.
Do NOT bring any electrical equipment such as mobile phones, MP3 players or other similar items.
All activities will be run in accordance with The Scout Association’s safety Rules. No responsibility for the personal equipment/clothing and effects can be accepted by the organisers and The Scout Association does not provide automatic insurance cover in respect to such items.
Make sure to bring plenty of warm layers, it can get very cold when camping outside, even in the summer.
We advise you print out this page and use it as a checklist to ensure you don’t forget to pack any items, and to make sure you go home with everything you came with.
